From the CTV news campaign blog, news that the Harper campaign is encouraging reporters to talk with “moderate” (i.e. post-Enlightenment) Conservative candidates, but not with the more troglodytish ones:

All of those candidates [that reporters were able to talk to]… could be characterized as relative moderates within the Conservative party — candidates whose views on a range of issues, including the hot button social agenda issues — would be closer to the centre of political spectrum.

But some candidates, whose views might be characterized by some as further away from the political centre, have been literally squirreled away or kept from the national media.

Well, that is what often happens to nuts.

A few hints: HTML works fine, but if you want a web address to appear properly (especially a long complex one), please use <a> tags -- WordPress does ugly and unfortunate things to things like ampersands.
