There were a few cool individuals at Vancity who came pre-informed and pre-enthused about this stuff before we came along. They were the folks who championed the project from the beginning. But since we’ve started working with them, the openness to innovation has been pretty much universal, all the way up the decision ladder. It’s been very, very gratifying.

I’m floored! You’re right – there isn’t another financial institution that gets the social web like Vancity does. The Wells Fargo blog doesn’t have anything on this.
