Edwards Drops Out of Race for President – New York Times

I’m sorry to see him go. Among the heavyweight contenders for the Democratic nomination, he was the one who truly tackled the huge and growing class divide in America, and all of its implications.

I hope he’ll keep speaking up. And I hope his departure has the virtue of spurring the two front-runners to speak more about one of the most dangerous and damaging weaknesses of American society… and how to start healing it.
