Let’s do this in an orderly fashion:

If……then…
You’ve seen Morgan Brayton perform…… you know she’s one of the funniest women on the planet.
You read this blog…… you know I’ve seen her perform, and I think she’s one of the funniest women on the planet
You haven’t seen Morgan perform, and you’re new to this blog…… you’re in for a real treat.

See, Morgan’s not just funny: she’s smart as hell, warm, compassionate and avidly curious about people. And if you’re anything like me, that just screams “ideal panel show host” to you.

Well, guess what?

That’s right: starting November 10, you’ll be able to catch Morgan and her guests in action in Morgan Brayton and Other People on OutTV. As the website puts it,

Join Morgan as she brings together a hilarious rotating group of women to break it down, ‘it’ being whatever they damn well feel like talking about. It’s like having a conversation with a group of your best girlfriends, if your best girlfriends were super funny and smart. (Not to say they’re not, we’re sure they’re very nice ladies.) From politics to potheads, rap to romance, celebrities to censorship, bisexuals to the Bionic Woman, cats to the Canterbury Tales, money to Mahatma Ghandi and everything in between, it’s a free-for-all of funny and fierce and you’re invited.

A photo of Morgan and, well, other peopleYou can be damn sure we’re ordering OutTV pronto. In fact, we’re going to order it twice just to be sure. (And that’s without knowing whether that’s an actually rotating group of women, and whether the group is rotating as a whole, or whether the individual women are rotating independently. That might be kind of cool but could also induce vertigo. Which could work in the show’s favour, creating the kind of suspense that keeps viewers riveted to the screen: will one of the guests pass out? throw up? fall over? Tune in to find out!)

Morgan Brayton and Other People premieres November 10 on OutTV.
