Alastair Campbell… or is it?

There’s an entertaining if foul-mouthed blog out there, titled Alastair Campbell – the name of Tony Blair’s former Dark Lord of the Sith spin supremo.

Is there even a chance that this is really him, with such tempered and reasonable posts as this?

Wish Piers Morgan would do us all a favour and just fuck off. Do people not remember why he got the boot? In the self publicising crap he writes for the Evening Standard he gloats over the fact that his drivel is at No 1 in the Amazon bestseller list whereas Peter Oborne’s biography of the great (thanks!) me is at 11,535. Hardly comparable is it you prat?

Naaaah. Couldn’t be. Could it?

    Another faux-blog. Kinda cute even if I doubt that the real Campbell would keep a blog like that. (Wouldn’t surprise me if he expressed similar sentiments in private, mind.) Some other folks did a similar prank on NYT political typist Adam Nagourney.
