A decade ago, I launched my first-ever web site — including a guide to wild places in the Victoria area. Those were the days before Dreamweaver, GoLive or even (cough)FrontPage. I turned instead to a program called HotDog from Sausage Software in Australia. I have no idea the date I first launched it, but what the hell — let’s call this the anniversary.

On which note, it’s nice to see they’re still going strong. I haven’t used HotDog in years — there’s no Mac version — but they helped get me going. Good on ya, folks.
