Think you wasted all that time on indefinite pronoun references in high school English class? Here’s how The Guardian (usually no slouch in the putting together of the words) reported on the recent Danish election:
Rasmussen was opposed by a four-party centre-left coalition led by the new social democrat leader, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, a daughter-in-law of former Labour party leader Neil Kinnock, who was bidding to become Denmark’s first female prime minister.
That’s a helluva dream, Mr. Kinnock. Good luck with that.
