I only ever met Ed Tchorzewski a few times, but had the occasion to speak with him frequently by phone over the course of a campaign or two. He combined a fast, lethal wit with a sharp strategic mind, an uncanny gift for earthy metaphors (“Forget it – it’d be like pulling a bear off a meat wagon”) and a ferocious commitment to a better, fairer country.
Saskatchewan, Canada and the NDP are all poorer for his loss… but richer for having had him among us.
