Non-profits in New West or East Van: looking for money?

The folks at Metropolis at Metrotown have raised $200,000 for charity via their little ride-on train, and it’s time to start donating it. Right now they’re looking to help organizations in East Vancouver and New Westminster. If you have a worthy cause that needs a little financial boost, why not drop them a line? Get the application form (in PDF format) and fire away.

    This is good news for resource-strapped NPO/NGOs doing grassroots work in the community. Perhaps you’d consider posting this to happyfrog.ca to alert the frogs?
